When I was a child, my parents regularly dragged me to antique stores and auctions in search of treasures. I learned to love these adventures and before long, I was rummaging for treasures of my own – at the time, barbie dolls and costume jewelry.
I grew up with an appreciation for quality design, pretty patinas and charmingly peeling paint. You will never convince me that something shiny and new is better than something vintage with it’s own unique character.
These days I am thoroughly entrenched in the visual arts as a photographer, a graphic designer and a rescuer of lost and lovely treasures from the past. You can visit my shop, South Nest Vintage, here.
